Wound care and Dressing
After the procedure, the wound dressing should be left in place for 48 hours before being removed. Keeping the dressing on for an extended period of time creates unnecessary moisture, which may delay wound healing; therefore, unless the wound is oozing, keep uncovered to aid in wound healing.
Suture Removal
Suture scissors with a curved tip
is then placed directly under the knot or on the side, close to the skin. Cut
the suture gently and pull it out with forceps. Make certain that all suture
material is removed and that the suture is placed on clean gauze. Our team
makes sure the patient feels no pain during the procedure.
Pap Smear
From infections and allergic reaction to cancers, pap smear is an inexpensive but extremely valuable procedure that gynecologists employ to remove pieces of your cervical tissue, and send to the histopathology laboratory to observe under the microscope.
